Framework for Cooperation

On 14 June, the Government of Japan and the ILO signed a “Framework for Cooperation” for a training project on employment and skills development to be carried out by the Centre.
Within the context of the framework agreement for cooperation between the Government of Japan and the ILO, dated 2009, in Geneva Ms. Patricia O'Donovan, Director of the International Training Centre of the ILO, and Mr. Yoshihiro Senoo, Japanese Deputy Minister for International Affairs, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare signed an agreement intended to support training activities at the Turin Centre.
The Ministry will contribute an initial sum for the development and implementation of training programmes in the field of employment and skills development by the Turin Centre.
